Upland Bird Hunt
Trico Unlimited offers guided upland bird hunts led by Trico Guide Tom Miller, whose experience as both a fisherman and hunter informs a disciplined, field-tested approach. Hunts are conducted in carefully selected covers—mixed hardwoods, old farm edges, and early successional growth—where grouse and woodcock move predictably with weather and season.
Emphasis is placed on efficient footwork, reading habitat, dog handling, and shot selection in tight quarters, rather than volume or speed.
